They operate with air or gas, ranging from low (30-250 psi) to high (300-3000 psi) pressures, using various gases such as instrument air, nitrogen, or natural gas. They are designed to automate gate, ball, plug, butterfly, and damper valves. They use the N series.
Actuating mechanisms: Scotch yoke, rack and pinion, vane, or piston for linear valves. They require instrumentation and accessories such as solenoids, pilot lights, filters, PLCs, partial test devices, flameproofing, among others.
Operating times are medium to fast, at a rate of 1 sec/in or less. They are also equipped with a handwheel, manual gearbox, or hydraulic pump. Their ideal use is where pneumatic supply can be guaranteed. They are ideal for emergency shutdowns or pipeline sectioning.
