These devices work automatically. They use electrical energy (24 VDC at 440/3/60 Hz) to generate their own hydraulic energy. They work with pressures between 1200 and 5000 psi. They can be powered by the mains electricity grid, solar panels, rechargeable batteries or thermal generation. They use the H and EH series.
Every time the valve operates, the motor does not operate; the motor only operates when hydraulic power is required. They are used to automate gate, ball, plug, butterfly, or damper valves.
Mechanisms include symmetrical or canted Scotch yoke, rack and pinion, and piston or reciprocating valves for linear valves. They incorporate a full range of accessories and instrumentation. The motor operates only when pressure is generated. Fast operation (1 sec/in or less) with the included hand pump.
Ideal for gas or liquid pipelines where zero emissions are required. Suitable for sectioning, emergency shutdowns, and applications where methane loss is prohibited.
