Electric actuators are automatic devices that operate directly on electrical power, from 24 VDC to 440/3/60 Hz. They are designed for the automation of gate, ball, male, butterfly, or damper valves, offering an efficient and low-cost solution.

Their exit curve is continuous throughout the race and, in the event of a power failure, they maintain their last position. They do not allow output speed to be varied, but offer non-intrusive adjustments, control, and interrogation via a Bluetooth interface and support communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Device Net, among others.

Operating times are slow (5 sec/in) and they are equipped with a handwheel or manual gearbox, and can also incorporate fire protection such as retardant, ceramic or mat.

Ideal where electricity supply can be guaranteed. Not recommended for emergency shutdowns or pipeline sectioning.
