Electric actuators

Electric actuators are electric powered automatic devices, available from 24 VCD to 440/3/60 Hz used for low cost gate on ball, plug, butterfly and damper valve automation. Typically, these devices feature a continuous output curve along the whole run, and in the event of power loss, they remain in the final position. Actuators cannot vary output speed. Key functions are adjustment, control and non-intrusive interrogation through a Bluetooth interface, as well as a variety of communication network protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Device Net, among many others.

Operation times are slow at a rate of 5 sec/inch. Likewise, they are equipped with a wheel or a manual gear box, and may include retardant, ceramic or material based fire protection. Ideal for environments with availability electric power. Not recommended for emergency shutdowns or pipeline sectioning.
